Storm Surge
With my summer break finally here I can focus more attention on Storm Surge. As I write, I waffle back and forth between thinking the manuscript is pretty great and the manuscript is a mess. The unorthodox format of three player character parties influencing each others’ options and narratives was a blast to run in the playtest, and though I still think anyone can GM it, actually writing it up is proving a lot harder than I expected. Still, if all goes to plan, I should have the first draft completed by the end of the month.
GenCon
The backers only game at GenCon has one spot left, and all those signed up should have received confirmation via Kickstarter messages. The game is at 2p on Saturday, August 1. If you have been hesitating about diving in, message me via KS and claim that last seat!
If you are one of the players, I'll email you confirmation of the location once the convention has started. I have a go-to play-space that is usually a lo quieter than most of the rest of the convention rooms, but I want to confirm that it is still available, so I'll share directions as we get closer to game time.
